Good news/Bad news
The good news: Matthew Perpetua was kind enough to email me and inform me that Marnie Stern is, in fact, Jewish.
The bad news: Heeb magazine has already featured her in their “Heeb Hundred” for last year.
The other good news: The Heeb music editor seemed pretty cool and invited me to pitch again if I had any other ideas for the magazine.
The unrelated bad news: FINALS WEEK
Can I ask a favor of Tumblr? In the unlikely event that I am ever famous, can someone please start a rumor that I am related to Marnie Stern? And then if I see her play again, I can be like “Did you hear we’re related?” And she’ll be like “Rumors are ridiculous” and I’ll be like “I know.”
